While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Despite challenges, Hamas vows to uphold ceasefire and return Israeli corpses

Saturday 18-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Senior 'Hamas official Ghazi 'Hamad said on Friday that recovering the remaining Israeli corpses in Gaza is a complicated issue that requires more time to handle due to the extensive destruction and difficult conditions on the ground.

'Hamad explained that the Israeli military attacks on Gaza had significantly altered its landscape, a “reality that was conveyed to the mediators, who expressed their understanding of the situation.”

'Hamad affirmed that Hamas remains committed to returning all the bodies of Israeli captives and honoring the terms of the ceasefire agreement as it had promised, calling Israel’s current practices as “pressure tactics.”

The Hamas official said that 28 civilians had been killed by Israeli fire since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, adding that the Israeli occupation army had also committed several other violations in different areas.

“We document the violations and will not turn a blind eye to them,” he underlined.

A Lebanese citizen martyred by an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon

Saturday 18-October-2025

BEIRUT, (PIC)

An Israeli strike on a construction vehicle in southern Lebanon killed one person, the Lebanese health ministry reported on Saturday.

“The Israeli enemy’s airstrike on a vehicle in the town of Dair Keefa, in the Soor (Tyre) district, resulted in one martyr,” the health ministry said in a statement.

Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that it was a drone strike which “targeted an excavator with two missiles on the Kfar Douneen-Dair Keefa road.”

The Israeli occupation forces continue to target homes, vehicles and motorcycles in different areas of southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire agreement that started on November 27, 2025.

Under the agreement, Israel was to withdraw all its forces from southern Lebanon, but despite the deal, these forces have remained at five Lebanese border positions.

UN official warns of growing danger from unexploded munitions in Gaza

Saturday 18-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

A senior United Nations official has warned that unexploded ordnance poses an increasing threat to civilians in Gaza following the recent ceasefire, stressing that clearing the deadly remnants of Israel’s genocidal war will take considerable time.

Luke Irvin, head of the UN Mine Action Service (UNMAS) mission, said removing unexploded munitions across the devastated enclave is “essential to gradually restoring normal life,” but cautioned that the process will be lengthy and complex after two years of relentless bombardment.

According to UNMAS, restrictions imposed during the genocide prevented wide-scale surveying operations in Gaza, leaving the agency without a full picture of the threat posed by explosives and unexploded ordnance scattered throughout the territory.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said earlier this week that aid workers have managed to assess explosive risks along several main roads. However, UNMAS noted that it only has a “limited number of armored vehicles in the field,” allowing just a few risk assessments per day.

The agency added that it still lacks authorization from Israeli authorities to bring in essential demining equipment. “Three armored vehicles remain stuck at the border, waiting for entry into Gaza,” UNMAS said, noting that their deployment would make operations “safer and broader in scope.”

In January, UNMAS estimated that between “5% and 10%” of the munitions fired into Gaza had failed to detonate. Since then, Israel’s occupation forces have continued their assaults on the enclave, including a large-scale invasion of Gaza City in mid-September, before the third ceasefire of the war took effect last Friday.

Echoing the UN’s concerns, the humanitarian group Handicap International warned that unexploded ordnance now poses an “enormous threat” to displaced Palestinians returning to their destroyed neighborhoods. The organization called for urgent permission to bring in demining equipment.

Anne-Claire Yaeech, Handicap International director in the Palestinian territories, said in a statement that the dangers are “immense,” with an estimated “70,000 tons of explosives dropped on Gaza” since Israel launched its genocidal assault in October 2023.

“The layers of rubble and debris are massive,” she said. “We’re facing an extremely hazardous situation in a densely populated and highly complex urban environment.”

300,000 students and 8,000 teachers resume studies with UNRWA

Saturday 18-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The media adviser for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), 'Adnan Abu 'Hasna, announced on Saturday the resumption of the educational process for around 300,000 Palestinian students in the Gaza Strip after two years of the Israeli genocide war.

This came in a televised statement published by UNRWA on its page on the “X” platform.

Abu Hasna said, “The agency has developed plans to resume education after two years of disruption,” noting that “ten thousand students will receive their education in some shelter centers, while the rest will study through virtual learning.” He added that around 8,000 teachers will participate in the educational process.

He stressed that the continued suspension of education is no longer possible after years of war and the repercussions of COVID-19, which have left thousands of children in Gaza unable to read and write.

Education in the Gaza Strip has been suspended since the Israeli occupation began its war of genocide on Gaza on October 7, 2023, as most UNRWA and government schools were converted into shelters, in addition to many that were completely or partially destroyed.

According to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Education as of September 16, the Israeli occupation army destroyed 172 government schools in Gaza and bombed or damaged 118 more, in addition to bombing and damaging more than 100 schools belonging to UNRWA.

The same data shows that during the Israeli genocidal war, 17,711 students were killed and 25,897 others injured in the Gaza Strip, while 763 school staff members were killed and 3,189 others injured.

Meanwhile, Abu 'Hasna said that the occupation authorities are not allowing the large quantities of aid that the agency possesses to enter the Gaza Strip. He noted that UNRWA is ready to distribute food supplies and operate 22 central clinics in the enclave.

He condemned the Israeli attempts to obstruct this humanitarian effort, saying, “Many essential supplies such as shelter materials, blankets, winter clothing, and medicines are not being allowed into Gaza from the Israeli side, which further worsens the humanitarian situation.” He pointed out that 95 percent of Gaza’s residents rely on humanitarian aid due to the loss of their sources of income.

Abu Hasna warned that “the situation is deteriorating dangerously, and hundreds of thousands of displaced people are living in the open after returning to Gaza City following the entry into force of the ceasefire agreement (on October 10).” He stressed that the entry of aid has become an urgent necessity before the winter season.

10th Israeli captive’s body returned amid ongoing exchange efforts

Saturday 18-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, handed over the body of another Israeli captive last night, bringing the total number of corpses received by the Israeli occupation army over the past five days to 10.

On Friday, al-Qassam Brigades said it managed to recover the body of another Israeli captive and would hand it over to the Red Cross at 11:00 p.m. local time.

Speaking on Friday, 'Hamas spokesman 'Hazim Qasim reaffirmed the Movement’s full commitment to the ceasefire agreement and its determination to complete the prisoner exchange process.

The spokesman urged all parties to pressure the Israeli occupation regime to abide by the ceasefire agreement and halt its ongoing violations, including daily killings and its restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

In a related context, Gaza’s health ministry announced that it received from the Red Cross the bodies of 15 Palestinian martyrs after they were released by the Israeli army, bringing the total number of released martyrs to 135.

In its statement, the ministry affirmed that its medical teams continue to deal with the received bodies in accordance with medical procedures and protocols before handing them over to the families in Gaza.

Some of the bodies were delivered with their hands bound and eyes blindfolded, bearing signs of torture, burns, and fractures. These signs indicate their exposure to severe mistreatment and possible execution-style killings, according to the ministry.

UN official: Catastrophic situation in Gaza, the quality of aid is as important as its quantity

Saturday 18-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The chief emergency coordinator at the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Hamish Young, said that the quality of aid needed by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip is no less important than its quantity.

Young said that Palestinians in Gaza urgently need tents, plastic sheets, and clean drinking water, stressing, in an interview with Anadolu Agency on Saturday, the necessity of allowing all essential materials to enter without restrictions in order to meet the growing humanitarian needs.

He also emphasized the urgent need for fuel and the equipment necessary to produce and distribute water, as well as pipes to repair wells and desalination plants.

He added, “We have 50 trucks waiting for permission to move and bring in medical supplies and hygiene materials that are vital to saving children’s lives.”

The UN official spoke while waiting with his team for the aid trucks on the road leading to the Kissufim crossing east of Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza.

According to the Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza Director Isma'eel El-Thawabta, Israel has allowed 653 aid trucks into Gaza since the ceasefire began on October 10. However, this number is far lower than the 600 trucks per day stipulated in the agreement.

While Israel allowed 173 trucks in last Sunday, including three carrying cooking gas and six carrying fuel, it did not permit any aid to enter on Monday or Tuesday, before resuming on Wednesday with 480 trucks.

As of Friday evening, the PGMO had not yet released figures for Thursday and Friday’s aid deliveries.

Commenting on this, Young said there should be 600 trucks loaded with supplies daily, including a full range of goods from the private sector and commercial suppliers, alongside vital humanitarian aid provided by UNICEF, the World Food Program (WFP), the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), and the World Health Organization (WHO).

He added that the Strip also needs about 50 fuel trucks per day, as well as cooking gas, which he stressed is essential for the people of Gaza.

Young underscored that safe access inside the Strip is a fundamental condition for aid distribution, saying, “We need freedom of movement throughout Gaza so that we can deliver supplies to the most vulnerable children, their mothers, and the families who care for them.”

The UN official described the situation in Gaza as catastrophic, noting that all hospitals have either been destroyed or severely damaged, while residents face acute shortages of food and shelter.

He confirmed that UNICEF urgently needs large quantities of food supplies to address the effects of famine in northern Gaza and called for maximum efforts to bring in all the necessary aid mentioned.

Palestinians in Gaza have been enduring a severe humanitarian crisis accompanied by widespread famine since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on October 8, 2023. The relentless bombardment and tightened blockade have destroyed civilian infrastructure and led to the collapse of the healthcare system.

Israel has completely closed Gaza’s crossings since March 2, blocking the entry of food, medicine, and all basic necessities. Thousands of trucks remain piled up on the Egyptian side of the Rafa'h crossing, waiting for permission to enter, but Israel continues to refuse to reopen Rafa'h, linking it to the return of the remaining bodies of Israeli captives.

On October 9, 2025, Hamas and Israel reached an agreement for a ceasefire and prisoner exchange based on a plan proposed by US President Donald Trump.

The deal followed four days of indirect negotiations between the two parties in Sharm El-Shaikh, mediated by Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye, under US sponsorship.

The next day, the agreement took effect. Under its terms, Hamas handed over 20 Israeli captives alive and the remains of 10 others, while 18 bodies remain. In return, Israel released 250 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences and 1,718 others detained from Gaza after October 8, 2023, in addition to returning the bodies of 120 Palestinians.

Gaza neighborhoods face flood threat as water authority warns of imminent sewage crisis

Saturday 18-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Gaza Water Authority has warned that entire neighborhoods across the Strip are at risk of flooding if urgent repairs are not made to the devastated sewage and drainage systems, following two years of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.

In a statement on Saturday, the authority urged the immediate entry of equipment, power generators, and spare parts to restore Gaza’s destroyed water infrastructure. “We cannot operate the generators for more than six hours at a time, as they are at risk of complete shutdown,” the authority said.

It appealed to the UN humanitarian envoy to facilitate the delivery of essential supplies to restart water and wastewater facilities, warning that contamination between sewage and freshwater pipelines is threatening to trigger widespread disease outbreaks.

The authority explained that the Israeli ground invasion had halted most water stations, forcing emergency crews to “work tirelessly to overcome the massive destruction.”

“With winter approaching, many Gaza neighborhoods face the danger of flooding if the sewage problem is not resolved urgently,” the authority cautioned. “We are facing an environmental catastrophe due to the leakage of sewage into groundwater and the contamination of potable water sources.”

After two years of Israeli aggression, Gaza continues to grapple with severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine, leaving its residents in a daily struggle for basic survival amid depleted resources and the ongoing blockade.

Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 68,116 since October 2023

GAZA, October 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 29 Palestinians, including 23 whose bodies were recovered, two who succumbed to their wounds, and four killed in direct Israeli strikes, were brought to hospitals across Gaza over the past 48 hours. Additionally, 21 people were injured during the same period.

The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has risen to 68,116, with 170,200 others injured, since the start of the assault, according to the Israeli Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025, 27 Palestinians have been killed and 143 wounded, while the bodies of 404 victims have been retrieved. Authorities have also received 135 bodies that were held by Israel and returned in batches.

The medical sources added that 120 additional victims were recently added to the cumulative death toll after their information was verified and confirmed by the judicial committee overseeing reports of missing persons between October 10 and 17, 2025.

Simultaneously, thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Despite the recent ceasefire agreement announced earlier this month, the Israeli occupation forces have continued sporadic attacks and delays in allowing humanitarian access.

Rights group: 34 Palestinians killed, 122 injured in 129 Israeli ceasefire violations in Gaza

Saturday 18-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Gaza Center for Human Rights has condemned in the strongest terms the continued Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, including a deadly strike on a civilian vehicle that killed 11 members of the same family, calling it a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 13, 2025.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the center said Israel’s actions reflect “utter disregard for civilian lives” and “a persistent commitment to a policy of murder and destruction,” in clear defiance of international humanitarian law and its obligations as an occupying power.

According to the center’s documentation, the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched 129 attacks and shootings since the ceasefire began, killing 34 Palestinians and injuring 122 others. The deadliest of these took place on Friday, October 17, in Gaza City’s El-Zaytoun neighborhood, when an IOF tank targeted a civilian vehicle carrying members of the Abu Sha'ban family as they traveled eastward toward their home.

The victims included seven children and two women from the same family.

The rights center said the attack “lacked any necessity or justification,” noting that Israel’s claim that the vehicle approached the so-called “yellow line” does not legitimize the strike. “Israeli forces possess advanced surveillance tools and could clearly identify that the vehicle carried a family returning home and posed no threat to soldiers positioned far away,” the statement read. “They could have issued a warning or used non-lethal means instead of resorting to indiscriminate killing.”

The center stressed that the attack exemplifies Israel’s systematic targeting of civilians and its ongoing genocidal policy against the Palestinian people. It described the incident as part of a pattern of deliberate violations of the ceasefire, carried out amid “disturbing international silence and the failure to hold perpetrators accountable.”

The Gaza Center for Human Rights urged the international community, the UN Commission of Inquiry, and the International Criminal Court (ICC) to urgently include these violations in ongoing investigations and ensure accountability to end Israel’s entrenched impunity, which encourages the repetition of such crimes.

The statement concluded that true civilian protection can only be achieved through a comprehensive and lasting end to the aggression, obligating Israel to respect international humanitarian law and enforcing international justice mechanisms to secure redress for victims.

The colonists also vandalized property, breaking several trees and cutting fences surrounding Palestinian farmland in the area.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and colonists carried out 2,215 violations across the occupied West Bank in September 2025, including 1,725 by the army and 490 by colonists. The highest number of attacks occurred in Hebron (463), followed by Ramallah and El-Beereh (417) and Nablus (309).

These violations included armed assaults on Palestinian villages, land seizures, destruction of property, tree uprooting, and road closures that fragment Palestinian communities. Gunfire by colonists also resulted in the killing of two Palestinians in the Ramallah and El-Beereh area last month.

'Hamas: Israeli attacks in West Bank won’t break Palestinian resolve

Saturday 18-October-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has affirmed that the growing attacks by Israeli forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank will not succeed in breaking the Palestinian people’s will and their steadfastness on their land.

In a statement on Saturday, Hamas added that such Israeli assaults in the West Bank “will instead fuel popular anger and expand its reach across the occupied territories.”

“The ongoing Zionist crimes in the West Bank, following two years of genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, will not intimidate the steadfast Palestinian people. Instead, these actions will backfire on the occupation and its settler militias, whose dreams of annexation, displacement, and domination over the West Bank will never be realized, regardless of the cost,” 'Hamas said.

'Hamas called on the Palestinian masses in the West Bank to continue their popular rallies and stand firmly against settler attacks targeting their villages, towns, and cities.

On Saturday morning, Israeli forces and settlers escalated their assaults on Palestinian civilians, preventing them from accessing their lands to harvest olives in several villages near Jerusalem and Ramallah.

Israeli occupation forces attacked farmers and barred them from reaching their olive groves in the village of Dair 'Ammar, west of Ramallah.

Israeli occupation forces bulldoze main street and seal southern entrance of Toubas

Toubas, October 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces bulldozed part of the main street last night in the center of Toubas, north of the occupied West Bank, as their large-scale incursion into the city continued.

According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli bulldozers closed the southern entrance to the city with earth mounds and razed sections of the main road near the Tayaseer junction.

Infantry troops, accompanied by snipers, were deployed across several neighborhoods, raiding multiple homes.

Simultaneously, local sources said the forces raided several homes, forcing residents to leave and turning the buildings into military posts for several hours.

Earlier in the evening, Israeli forces stormed Tubas with a large convoy of military vehicles. Additional reinforcements, including two bulldozers, later arrived from the Tayaseer checkpoint east of the city.

The raid caused extensive damage and further restricted movement for residents, who have faced repeated incursions and closures in recent weeks amid intensified Israeli military raids across the occupied West Bank.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
